Summer Art Camps
Imagine Studios summer art camps are for creative, artsy kids of all ages! Each week of camp is based on a theme and will feature multiple projects such as canvas painting, wood door hangers, pottery, watercolor, clay, ceramic pottery, and other arts and crafts.
Camps are four days in length and are $150 per the week unless noted. Camps are Monday through Thursday, unless otherwise noted. The registration fee of $35 is required to hold your child's spot and is non-refundable. The balance is due on the first day of class. 10% early bird discount offered if camp fees are paid in full by May 1, 2021. Be sure to follow age guidelines listed with each camp and to read through Imagine Studios terms and conditions! When you register, you will register on the start date/time, but make a note of the actual camp dates/times under each description.
June 1-4, 9 AM to Noon, k-5th grade (Tuesday to Friday)
Sweet Summertime In this camp, artists will create works of art based on all things sweet about summertime from paintings of watermelons and flip flops to making homemade ice cream in a bag.
June 7-10, 9 AM to Noon, 1st-6th grade
Mad Scientist Combine art and science in this STEAM based camp. Grab your goggles and lab coat and experiment with color and materials that pop and ooze and fizz. Projects include magnetic slime and tie dye tees.
June 7-10, 1-4 PM, 4th-8th grade
Pencil Me In! This camp is for artists in the middle grades, 4-8, who want to learn more about drawing techniques including using graphite pencils, watercolor pens, Sharpie, charcoal, and pastels. Create characters and backgrounds inspired by the anime and manga world plus fantasy art. Each artist will have an artist’s sketchbook to keep, in addition to other projects.
June 14-17, 9 AM to Noon, k-5th grade
Under the Sea Life is better Under the Sea and so is the art. Join us for one of our most popular camps and create fishies, mermaids, sharks & more using clay, ceramic, watercolor and canvas.
June 18th, 9 AM to 3 PM, 4th-8th Grade FRIDAY ONLY
Middle School Art Journaling ($90) This one day art retreat is for middle school artists to create a visual art diary, a space where you can write, draw, and create almost anything. Artists will spend the day learning different techniques for drawing, mixed media, watercolor, and hand-lettering. Artists will also create an inspirational mixed media canvas plus we’ll order pizza for lunch *Only register for the 9 AM slot!! Camp is from 9-3 PM. No early bird discounts offered for this session due to cost of supplies.
June 21-24, 9- Noon, k-5th grade
Tiki Time Hula on over for Tiki Time at Imagine Studios! This week we’re creating all things tropical. Say Aloha (hello!) to palm trees and pineapples, grass skirts and leis.
June 28-July 1, 9 AM to Noon, 1st-6th grade
Starry Night This one’s for the dreamers, the future astronauts, the alien designers, the galaxy obsessed and the glow star lovers...a week of art centered on out of this world art. Projects will include making your own glow-in-the-dark slime, creating a 3-D galaxy canvas and painting space themed pottery
July 5-8, 9 AM-Noon, k-5th
Paint Party Celebrate with paint! Create your own birthday treat plate, design a wood cupcake door hanger, and have fun making other celebration-themed works of art on pottery, canvas, and wood.
July 12-15, 9 AM to Noon, 1st-6th
Heroes & Villains Whether you love the heroic or the villainous or you’re rooting for the ever present sidekick, this camp is for you! Explore pop culture and pop art drawing inspiration from Marvel, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Disney heroes and villains. Paint pottery, create your own villain or hero, paint a canvas inspired by artist Roy Lichenstein, and more!
July 19-20, Monday/Tuesday ONLY, 9 AM to 11 AM, Preschool Ages 3-5
(BOOKING WILL SAY 9-12. It is only 9-11)
Preschool Picassos ($85) This camp is designed for the smallest aspiring artists. Explore the world of art with two days of painting and creating! Pottery, canvas, and crafts!
July 26-29, 9 AM to Noon, k-5th
The Great Outdoors Does your artist love being outdoors? For this week’s camp, we will create works of art inspired by the great outdoors. Create an “adventure” mixed media canvas, paint a vintage camper bank, and more projects focusing on hiking, biking, camping and forest friends!
August 2-5, 9 AM to Noon, k-5th
Creative Creatures Let your imagination run wild! This week, campers will make art featuring wildly creative creatures. Join us to make crazy and creative projects focused on real and imaginary creatures. Projects include ceramic pottery, glass fusing, canvas, and watercolor.
